In areas of the world where we practice intensive and mechanized agriculture, soil compaction is one of the main forms of soil degradation.
- Plan the cultural operations so that the soil is not too wet when executed. The soil should crumble easily over the entire working depth.
- Reduce the secondary labor to a minimum. Each additional pass breeze aggregates and increases soil bulk density.
- Reduce the pressure on the ground, reducing tire pressure or reducing the axle load.
- Improve drainage. This reduces the risk of being forced to work too wet field.
- Enrichment of organic material in the soil to improve the stability of its structure.
- By changing the depth of tillage.
- By reducing the shock effect of rain droplets in the conservation of plant cover (stubble residues, mulch ...)
