Drip irrigation

The watering system buried drip is good agronomic option for both tree crops (almonds, olives, pistachios, peaches, grapes, etc ...) and for intensive crops (corn, barley, alfalfa, etc ... ). It allows the application of water and fertilizer more directly on the root system of plants, while saving water and fertilizer, also getting other economic, ecological and agronomic benefits.
Tips:

  • Do not use dropwise with a water containing more than 0.1 ppm of iron, there is a risk of clogging.
  • A well sized and regularly checked filtration is essential to ensure an installation without clogging! Filtration should be 130 m to 100 m depending on the brand dripper (What Fertile Water "Localized irrigation filtration").
  • While maintaining the network. Please be careful if you have a very hard water and / or that you made the fertigation (What Fertile Water "Inspection and maintenance of an irrigation system"). Under the influence of heat, the drip pad expands. In the absence of mulching, it should be slightly buried to keep it in good position.
  • Heat can also cause precipitation and create blockages. Do not neglect the maintenance of the facility during the season.
