Mycorrhiza and improving soil structure

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have the ability through their hyphae to connect microphones macro-aggregates.
The beneficial effects of mycorrhizae on soil aggregation and stability can improve the soil resistance to erosion, plus they have a positive effect on the mechanical and physical soil parameters.

Indeed, the AMF has an important role in regulating the flow of carbon between the atmosphere and the biosphere and the storage of atmospheric carbon in the soil.

More mycorrhiza are often recommended in programs of rehabilitation of polluted soil and phytoremediation.
